interface - the interface to the iwb. the tool that supports the use of the iwb as either a teaching or learning tool. without an effective interface, the users ability to utilize the iwb is greatly reduced.

interactive white board (iwb) - a whiteboard that can be connected to a computer and projector. it is an interactive tool, as users can affect the display immediately by using a finger or stylus.

integrate - where the iwb blends into the curriculum, is used by teachers and students as a tool for teaching and learning in an effortless way, without fear of breaking it, doing something wrong, and with an understanding of the tools advantages and disadvantages for different types of learning

teaching tool - a tool that enhances a teachers ability to teach, either by speeding up lessons, making lessons more effective, cutting down on planning time, encouraging the sharing of ideas between teachers

learning tool - a tool that enhances a pupils ability to learn new information. this can be either the rate at which learning occurs, or the depth and breadth of the understanding of a concept.
