You are the chapter president of a sorority. You want to have a directory of members published so everyone can stay in touch. You check out UPC's website for more info.
1. How much does the service cost?
it's free, found this info on the first purple/yellow page

found it but thought it meant to get info about company. was looking for contact us or questions
3. Find a sample of a directory.
didn't like pop up ...wanted web-based example...doesn't like to download shit.
4. Enroll your chapter.
hard to click on the directory - was a drop down but it wasn't clickable from the menu
5. You're chapter address has changed. Update your chapter information.
again annoyed by the drop down menu where you can't click on the main menu bar. also couldn't find the right form to fill out - tried the summer one but didn't really know how to just permanently change the address because it's so unclear.


You are part of an alumni association. Your goal for the year is to publish a member directory. You go to UPC's site to see if they will fit your needs.
1. You have this awesome color photo that just has to be on the cover of the directory. Does UPC publish color photos on covers?
was not sure how to answer this question...kept trying to click on "about our directory program". finally tried clicking on a sample directory...annoyed again by pop-up as opposed to web-based. assumed from sample that clor photos can be on cover.
2. You're intrigued and decide to request more information.
found it but thought it would be at top menu bar...awkward placement.
3. You wonder if anyone has used this service before. You look to see if you can find a list of satisfied clients.
found list quickyly, but thought there would be more testimonials...there was only one. did not feel that the list was impressive because there are no quotes.
4. Where is this company based anyway?
clicked on "contact us" and saw that it is from bloomington.
5. Ok, you just want to call someone. Find the phone number of someone who works in academic services.
found it under "contact us".

What tasks were easiest?
the ones that were done right away.

hardest?
the ones that took awhile to do.

What do you like about the site?
thought the service was interesting and cool that it is free.

What do you dislike?
i don't like the links being text links...prefer buttons.
